Ranbaxy has agreed to an $8.25 million settlement to resolve claims that it conspired to delay generic versions of Lipitor, leading to higher prices. The settlement covers individuals and entities in West Virginia who paid for Lipitor between March 24, 2010, and Nov. 30, 2011. While Ranbaxy denies wrongdoing, eligible claimants may receive up to $599, depending on the number of valid claims. This follows a similar $35 million settlement by Pfizer in October 2024.
You purchased, paid, and/or provided reimbursement for some or all of the purchase price of branded Lipitor in West Virginia at any time during the period of March 24, 2010 through November 30, 2011.
